A Pasco County motorcyclist wearing a bunny helmet led Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a dangerous high‑speed chase after being spotted speeding on U.S. Highway 19. Troopers noticed the motorcycle’s license plate had been flipped upward, rendering it unreadable, and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The rider, identified as Dalton Hubbert, 29, accelerated, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph, running multiple red lights and weaving through traffic. The pursuit crossed into Hernando County before Hubbert slowed near Commercial Way in North Weeki Wachee and surrendered. During the stop, investigators found Hubbert in possession of a handgun. He now faces multiple charges, including driving over 50 mph above the speed limit and use or display of a weapon during a felony, and was transported back to Pasco County for booking.
