New Traffic Signal Opens at Trinity Boulevard and Cool Springs Parkway in Pasco County

A new four-way traffic signal with turn arrows began operating on July 7 at the intersection of Trinity Boulevard and Cool Springs Parkway in Odessa. Pasco County officials stated that the infrastructure upgrade was necessary because motorists previously struggled to make left turns onto Trinity Boulevard due to heavy traffic volumes. The new system allows drivers to turn without waiting for gaps in oncoming traffic, significantly improving safety and convenience for local commuters. This intersection serves as a key connector to State Road 54 and is located near several major landmarks, including a Wawa gas station and large apartment complexes. Traffic congestion on Trinity Boulevard has increased substantially over the past decade due to new residential developments and commercial businesses in the area. The addition of venues like Bay Paws Pet Resort and The Collective at Escape Brewing Company has further contributed to the growing demand for better traffic management solutions. County officials described the installation as great news for residents who had long dreaded navigating this challenging left-hand turn.
