Orlando Health has officially opened its new Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, adding a third major hospital to the area alongside AdventHealth and BayCare. The initial five-story facility features 102 beds and comprehensive medical services, with plans to expand significantly by 2028. Future developments include additional medical office buildings, a dedicated women’s center, and a freestanding emergency department. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to support Pasco County’s rapid residential growth, which has seen hundreds of thousands of new residents since 1970. The campus will employ over 400 people and aims to build long-term community health relationships. Another pediatric facility by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is also scheduled to open nearby in 2027.
