Pasco County Adds Six Fire Stations for Faster Response

Pasco County Fire Rescue is expanding with six new fire stations to address rapid residential growth and improve emergency response times. Three stations opened in 2025, with three more under construction, set for completion by early 2027. Deputy Chief Shawn Whited emphasized the need to match the county’s growth with enhanced services. The new stations, including a $10 million facility in Land O’ Lakes, will feature modern equipment and training spaces. Existing stations are being replaced or upgraded to meet increasing demand. The expansion follows recent projects like Station 28 and Station 9, ensuring continued protection for residents and businesses. Whited highlighted the commitment to long-term service and safety.
