Pasco County Adds Six New Fire Stations to Meet Growth Demand

Pasco County Fire Rescue is expanding its infrastructure by adding six new fire stations within two years to address rapid residential growth and increased emergency response demands. Three stations opened in 2025, with three more under construction, set to complete by early 2027. Deputy Chief Shawn Whited emphasized the need for modern facilities to improve response times and firefighter safety. Station 1, replacing aging Station 22, will include advanced equipment and training spaces. The project reflects broader efforts to strengthen emergency services in the growing county.
