The county’s libraries are hosting a variety of engaging programs including mystery-solving sessions for teens, magic shows, author talks about the Declaration of Independence, and summer reading quests with prizes. Community gatherings such as car meets at B&B Theatres and Willybuilt Friday in New Port Richey provide opportunities for locals to socialize and share their passions. Historical societies are hosting speaker series celebrating America’s semiquincentennial, while cultural events like the Hamilton Sing-Along and a centennial film screening at Richey Suncoast Theatre offer unique entertainment experiences. Food vendors, artisan markets, live music performances, and patriotic-themed activities will be available at multiple locations across Zephyrhills, New Port Richey, Wesley Chapel, Tarpon Springs, and surrounding communities.
