Pasco County Schools is adjusting its free meals program due to rising food costs and changes in federal legislation. The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, which offers free breakfast and lunch to all students, will transition to a ‘hybrid model’ next year. Schools in high-poverty areas will continue offering free meals, while others will revert to traditional meal programs requiring applications.
