According to law enforcement deputies, the individual was last observed around 9:05 a.m. on Saturday morning within the 5400 block of State Road 54 in New Port Richey. Preliminary reports indicate that the man entered a business establishment and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing the scene prior to police arrival. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this incident, which appears to be an isolated event according to PCSO officials. The suspect is described as a Black male standing approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants while traveling away from the area on foot. The sheriff’s office has not yet confirmed which specific business the suspect entered during this robbery attempt.
