A walkathon in Pasco County, Florida, organized by HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, aimed to raise obesity awareness through TREO’s initiative. Participant Jenny Kiran, who struggled with obesity and gastroesophageal reflux disease, underwent gastric bypass surgery. Dr. Loan Mai, her bariatric surgeon, highlighted community support and education in addressing obesity. Kiran, now at 160lbs, credits the event and medical care for restoring her energy. Proceeds will fund TREO’s research and education to combat obesity.
