Pasco Retired K-9s Receive Free High-Tech Pain Relief Treatments

Former working dogs in Pasco County are receiving advanced medical treatments to manage chronic pain resulting from years of service. The Pasco Retired K-9 Foundation has partnered with Cryo-Eeze to provide free red light and pulsed electromagnetic field therapies. These non-invasive sessions address common issues like arthritis and hip dysplasia, which often incur high veterinary costs for handlers. Ryder Gaston, owner of Cryo-Eeze, emphasized that improving the quality of life for animals is a core mission of their nonprofit arm. Early results show success, with retired K9 Jagger regaining activity levels without hip pain. The foundation continues to seek support through upcoming events, including its annual golf tournament in September and a gala in October. These initiatives highlight a community effort to care for heroes who have served law enforcement agencies across the county.
