The city of Port Richey is acquiring two Skydio X10 drones for police and fire departments to enhance emergency response capabilities. The drones, funded by a Florida Department of Law Enforcement grant, feature thermal and 4K cameras for real-time support during emergencies, such as locating individuals, assessing hazards, and aiding in disaster response. The city expects the drones to significantly improve public safety and operational efficiency.
