Community leaders and supporters gathered for Marjorie’s Hope’s annual Celebrity Waiter event in New Port Richey, Florida, raising funds and awareness to benefit students across Pasco County. The event transformed local figures, including Attorney Chris Dyer from LMD Injury Lawyers, into servers for a day to support educational resources and student success. Organizers reported that since January the organization has distributed over 2,000 clothing items and nearly 400 pieces of professional attire to prepare students for job interviews and careers. The well-known Cinderella & Prince Charming Project has dressed more than 2,000 Pasco County students for prom, ensuring participation in this milestone event. Additionally, Marjorie’s Hope awarded $2,000 in scholarships this year, further investing in student futures. Continued community backing is seen as vital to expanding these programs and reaching more students in need.
