The longest scallop season in Pasco County’s history began this week, providing a second chance for local businesses and scallopers after last year’s shortened season due to a water toxin and Hurricane Helene. Captain Brandon Csaszar of Anclote Charters, who had a tough year with business and boat damage, is hopeful for a successful summer.
