A golf cart collision in Wesley Chapel, Florida, left eight people seriously injured on Friday. The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Elam Road when a 43-year-old man made a U-turn, striking a Honda Accord driven by a 17-year-old girl. The golf cart overturned, ejecting all occupants, including the driver’s wife, five children, and their 16-year-old neighbor. All eight were hospitalized with severe injuries. The car came to rest on the road’s shoulder, partially in a nearby pond. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the crash happened west of Callow Ford Drive.
