Six juveniles were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Wesley Chapel, Florida, on Tuesday afternoon. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office assisted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in locating a suspect driving a stolen vehicle that had entered Pasco County. Deploys of stop sticks successfully deflated two tires, but the driver continued fleeing before crashing on the eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 75. The vehicle crossed the median and entered the westbound lane before coming to a stop. All six occupants were treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Authorities stated the incident was isolated and there is no ongoing threat to public safety, with charges pending in both counties.
