A 4-year-old boy and a 40-year-old woman died in a nearly head-on collision on Eiland Boulevard in Pasco County, Florida. The crash occurred around 4:37 a.m. on April 18, south of Handcart Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a northbound Nissan Altima crossed the center line and struck a southbound Hyundai Santa Fe. The boy was a passenger in the Altima, while the woman was in the Santa Fe. Six other individuals from both vehicles were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the victims have not been released.
