Whataburger continues its Tampa Bay expansion with the opening of its third location in Brandon later this month. The new restaurant at 1426 W. Brandon Blvd. will open Thursday at 11 a.m. with 24/7 service featuring dine-in and drive-thru options. This marks the latest expansion in Central Florida for the Texas-based chain, which returned to the Tampa area in February with a Largo location and recently opened another in Lutz. Special giveaways will be offered for early customers, including Whatamerch swag bags for the first 80 guests and 20 drive-thru customers. The company plans to open three additional locations by the end of 2026 in Orlando and Fort Myers as part of its regional growth strategy.
