Anastacia Kelley, a 48-year-old social studies teacher and department chair at Pasco County’s Angeline Academy of Innovation, was celebrated as the district’s 2026 Teacher of the Year on Jan. 23. Recognized for her transformative teaching methods, mentorship, and dedication to creating a safe learning environment, Kelley credits her colleagues for her success. The event highlighted her impact on students and staff, with Superintendent John Legg emphasizing her role as a ‘star’ guiding students toward success.
