Cosmetology Student Nominates Instructor As A Plus Teacher At Technical College In Florida

A group of cosmetology students at Fred K. Marchman Technical College recently graduated, and one student nominated their instructor Jonica Teague for the A+ Teacher award. Teague, affectionately known as Miss T by her students, has been teaching for ten years after graduating from the same program twenty years ago. She initially worked behind the chair before returning to education as a volunteer educator after realizing her passion for teaching during her first three years. Teague helps prepare her students for their state board exam and maintains contact with them after graduation to support their success. Robert Petrillo, who nominated Teague, praised her dedication and care for every student. He noted that she goes above and beyond in helping students succeed and gives her all every day. Teague expressed that being nominated was gratifying feedback on her work as she remains extremely passionate about her job. The article concludes by encouraging readers to nominate their own A+ teachers who go above and beyond in their profession.
