Fencing Company Owner Arrested Over Unfinished Grant Project

Kayle Colvin, the owner of Your Fencing Pros, LLC, was arrested in New Port Richey after investigators discovered she accepted city grant funds without completing the contracted work. The City of New Port Richey awarded a $3,972.08 grant to the company in July 2025 to help a low-income homeowner install a fence, but by January 2026, no construction had occurred at the residence. Despite repeated attempts to contact the business, Colvin provided excuses and delays rather than addressing the unfinished project. On May 22, 2026, authorities charged her with grand theft and violation of probation. The police department is now seeking information from anyone who may have been a victim of similar misconduct by the fencing company. This case highlights the risks associated with grant-funded projects and the importance of contractor accountability.
