The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a woman was injured after losing control of her vehicle on US-19. Hannah Mackay was driving northbound past the intersection of Sunray Drive when she lost control of her Mazda CX30. The car veered onto the northeast shoulder and collided with a ditch, sidewalk, guide wires, and a utility pole. Mackay suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Following the incident, authorities arrested her for driving under the influence, drug possession, and driving with a suspended license.
