Florida Woman Arrested After DUI Crash Involving Deputy SUV And Chiropractic Building

A Florida woman named Kari Roumeliotis was arrested on multiple DUI charges after crashing into a chiropractic building and backing into a Pasco County deputy’s patrol SUV. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning in Hudson when Roumeliotis, with her two young children in the car, fled a traffic stop while driving at high speeds. After initially stopping near Sea Breeze Drive, she pulled away and crashed into the Hudson Chiropractic building before reversing and hitting the deputy’s patrol vehicle. Investigators found Roumeliotis had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and an alcohol odor, with breath tests showing levels of 0.134 and 0.140, well above Florida’s legal limit. She was charged with DUI for having a breath alcohol level of 0.08 or higher and two counts of DUI with a passenger under 18. The children were released to their father’s custody following the arrest, which occurred just months after they had been returned from her previous DUI incident involving the same children.
