Pasco County Schools Launch New All-In-One App For Families

Pasco County Schools has introduced a new comprehensive application called Pasco One to streamline access to various school resources for families. This platform consolidates information regarding grades, attendance records, class schedules, bus routes, and payment options into a single convenient location. The most significant change involves the elimination of transaction fees associated with school meal payments that previously cost $3.50 per child through MySchoolBucks. School board member Jessica Wright highlighted how these fees could quickly accumulate to approximately $42 monthly for families with three children. By removing these charges, the district ensures more funds directly support student meals while providing a more user-friendly digital experience. Over 12,000 individuals have already downloaded the application as students return to classrooms across all 106 Pasco County Schools on Thursday morning.
