Incumbent Mayors Reelected in New Port Richey and Port Richey Elections

Voters in Pasco County reelected incumbent mayors in both New Port Richey and Port Richey on April 14. Port Richey Mayor John Eric Hoover won with over 61% of the vote against challenger Linda Rodriguez. New Port Richey Mayor Chopper Davis secured approximately 43% of the vote in a four-candidate race. Both mayors emphasized continued focus on economic development, infrastructure improvements, and downtown revitalization. Hoover highlighted unity and responsible governance as key priorities for Port Richey residents. Davis plans to concentrate on revitalizing U.S. 19 north of Main Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
