A man named Riley Ferrer was arrested early Friday morning after crashing his pickup truck on Interstate 75 in Hernando County. He then attempted to steal an emergency medical helicopter that responded to the scene where he had caused a collision with another vehicle. Both occupants of the sedan involved in the crash were seriously injured and required transport by air ambulance. Ferrer resisted law enforcement officers at the scene and claimed he saw the anti-Christ, which allegedly caused his loss of control. He was charged with resisting an officer without violence and burglary of an occupied conveyance. After being medically cleared at Tampa General Hospital Brooksville, Ferrer was taken into custody by authorities.
