Jadon Wilson from Wesley Chapel High School has been honored as a Spectrum Scholar and received a $1,000 scholarship from Spectrum Bay News 9. The recent graduate distinguished himself with a remarkable 4.619 GPA and earned the title of Overall Outstanding Senior for all of Pasco County. Wilson balanced academic excellence with leadership roles, serving as student government president and participating in multiple clubs. He also completed high school with an associate’s degree from Pasco-Hernando State College. Beyond academics, Wilson excelled in multiple sports including tennis, which he plays regularly with his younger brother. The student’s achievements were recognized by his career specialist Kelly Faysash, who nominated him for the scholarship. Wilson plans to continue his education at the University of Florida, where he will major in computer engineering beginning this fall semester.
