A new boat, Marine One, has been added to Pasco County Fire Rescue’s fleet. It is the first open-water boat for the department and is designed to handle Gulf waters. The vessel is expected to aid in responding to emergencies more effectively, especially during scallop season and hurricane season. The boat has already been used in a house fire and water rescues. It is expected to benefit the department for many years to come.
