Wrights Gourmet House, a longstanding South Tampa institution, is expanding its presence by opening two new locations in Brandon and Wesley Chapel. The expansion aligns with the vision of Wiregrass Ranch developer JD Porter, who has consistently sought to attract elevated local dining concepts rather than chain restaurants. Caspers Company, which acquired Wrights in 2024, plans to open the Wesley Chapel location in summer 2028 near Cooper’s Hawk Winery. The new site will feature the same beloved oversized sandwiches and cakes that have made Wrights famous since its founding in 1963. Operations director Yesy Cruz expressed confidence in the expansion, citing a stable and growing team over the past two years. This development adds to Wesley Chapels reputation as one of Floridas fastest growing areas for businesses and families.
